To guarantee that players enjoy an optimal experience, games submitted to YioGames must meet the following baseline requirements:

  • Technology Stack: HTML5, WebGL, Canvas, or WebAssembly (Unity WebGL, Godot HTML5, Phaser, Construct 3, PixiJS, etc.).
  • Performance Target: Solid 60 FPS on standard modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with responsive performance on low-spec Chromebooks.
  • Secure Transport: All runtime assets must be served over valid HTTPS with zero mixed-content warnings.
  • Control Usability: Clear controls mapped to standard PC inputs (WASD, Arrows, Space, Mouse) and/or intuitive virtual touch overlays for mobile devices.
  • Zero Deceptive Paywalls: No forced executable downloads, unskippable interstitial lockouts on initial boot, or malicious scripts.
